Saturday 3rd March 2018 09:30Coffee and Cake STILL GOING AHEAD (tho' Market is not)!Join us in Stokesley church for homemade cakes and hot drinks before or after you have browsed our monthly farmers' market
Sunday 4th March 2018 08:00EucharistOur first Eucharist of the day, held in Stokesley church and is Common Worship, except the first Sunday of the month is Book of Common Prayer
09:30Sung EucharistOur busiest service of the week, you are welcome to join us for a sung Eucharist. Although we do not currently have a Sunday School, children are very welcome, with some resources for small children available. We always serve hot and cold drinks and biscuits (and sometimes cake) afterwards.
11:15Eucharist at SeamerA Common Worship eucharist at our smaller church, St Martin's, with some traditional hymns (usually unaccompanied).
17:00Stokesley Deanery Lent ServiceA Lenten service combined with an address by a visiting speaker, this year on the subject of Prayer and Spirituality.
Tea, Coffee and biscuits are available from 4.30pm.
Services take place on the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 5th Sundays of Lent, but not on the 4th (Mothering Sunday)

Wednesday 7th March 2018 09:30Eucharist - Common WorshipWe celebrate midweek Eucharist in the ancient chancel of Stokesley parish church, with a sung hymn. Many of the congregation then go together for a coffee afterwards and would welcome you to join them

09:30Sung EucharistOur busiest service of the week, you are welcome to join us for a sung Eucharist. We often have a Traidcraft stall, and we always serve hot drinks afterwards.
18:00Evening PrayerAn intimate service held in our ancient chancel in Stokesley Parish Church, you are welcome to join us for sung evening prayer, according to the Book of Common Prayer, with some singing and a short reflection.

09:30Morning PraiseChildren are welcome at all our services. Our Morning Praise in Stokesley is a more relaxed service, usually not Eucharistic (though occasionally it is). We always accept donations for Middlesbrough Food Bank at this service

11:15Communion at Springfield HouseA communion service with hymns for residents and friends of Springfield House (from various denominations) in their community room. Others are always welcome.

Thursday 29th March 2018 "Half Holy Week" Some parishioners are keeping the first half of Holy Week at Shepherd's Dene Retreat House in Northumberland.
19:30Maundy Thursday LiturgyEucharist of the Lord's Supper (with hymns) followed by silent Watch of Prayer, lasting around an hour until Compline at 9.45pm
Friday 30th March 2018 GOOD FRIDAY The church will have been stripped of many of its normal furnishings, to mark the especially solemn nature of the day. It is open for private prayer (as usual) between the daytime services.
09:00Good Friday Morning PrayerA reflective service using the Psalm, Readings and Litany traditionally used on this day. Modern language.
11:45Walk of Witness (Starts at Meth Ch)Using familiar hymns and readings, we tell the story of the Crucifixion at the steps of the Methodist Church, in front of the Town Hall, and at the Parish Church gates.
14:00"Last Hour" ServiceReadings, music and addresses reflecting on the Passion.
Saturday 31st March 2018 Holy Saturday The church is prepared for the celebration of Easter.
As the celebration has not yet arrived, there will NOT be Coffee and Cake in Church, even though there will be an extra Farmers’ Market outside on The Plain.
